providing Free Software computers and Internet connectivity.

M6-IT CIC has been commisioned by a group of schools in the East Midlands to provide computers and Internet connectivity for socially excluded families.  Funded from the regeneration budget, these computers will be free of charge for the families involved. To allow these computers to be reliable and practical for the families, they will be installed with the Xubuntu distribution.

A test run, delivering 7 computers to families, has now been completed.  The project is now moving into the main stage where over 80 more families will be provided with computer systems.
