CMS module for the Open It Up project written by M6-IT

M6-IT has been commissioned to write the CMS module for the Open It Up project.  Written in Moodle, a leading Virtual Learning Environment, the materials will be released under a Creative Commons licence.  The first delivery of the course will be in Cambridge in February, and it will then be taken around the country, arriving in the West Midlands in March.  Matthew Edmundson, employed at the National Computer Centre, said "you've really understood what we want to do with this project" when he heard about the concept for the component designed by M6-IT.

Moodle is a Free Software project and is used by a substantial number of schools, colleges and universities world-wide.  M6-IT is committed to supporting its adoption in the UK and is planning a low-cost provision for schools.
