The Open Source Training Project

Circuit Rider Training in Free and Open Source Software - for IT professionals working with the Community and Voluntary Sectors.  Topics include:

  • Installing GNU/Linux
  • Files System and User Permissions
  • Content Management Systems
  • Linux Terminal Server Project
and much more.  Cost is a £100 for two days - and this price includes a 5GB USB mini-drive, food and accommodation.  The training is delivered for the ICTHub by the National Computing Centre. 

Richard Rothwell of M6-IT will be there to assist - having written some of the training materials.
