Web standards Conference
Web Standards - simple semantic code, appropriate style sheets, accessibility, working around bugs for those using Microsoft's Internet Explorer Web Browser (Why do they do it?). It's not rocket science - yet many designers have yet to leave the mid-1990s. This event would help them immensely ;-)
M6-IT are hoping to be there to keep up to date on the latest techniques for building flexible, maintainable, accessible, stylish websites - in order to keep our clients conformant with accessibility legislation, communicating with their stakeholders, and appealing to potential donors. Should we all be too busy working to make it, rest assured we're busy behind the scene keeping up with web standards, semantic code, and accessible sites :)
