M6-IT work with Free Software, particularly GNU/Linux systems - as these provide solutions to the sector that are accessible, affordable, and sustainable.

In a few specific cases suitable software for these Free Software systems is not available - at least not to the needs of all of our clients. In such cases M6 will write the software themselves, in conjunction with the Free Software community - or sponsor the writing of such necessary applications.

Currently we are at the early stages of meeting a particular document-handling need, and will be represented at this incredibly comprehensive meeting of XML minds, as we work towards speccing out our next software
project.
