Richard Smedley has spent the last decade advocating and implementing Free Software solutions for education, businesses, and the voluntary sector. He spent the previous decade as an organic horticulturist, and permaculture designer, working with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and HDRA, Ryton Organic Garden. Prior to that he worked as a musician, and regrettably continues to inflict his performances on the world to this day ;-)
